L’ “Epoca” di Mario De Biasi. Morandi attraverso l’obiettivo
Casa Morandi consolidates the programming of exhibition events dedicated to artists who, with their work and through different media, have established a relationship with Giorgio Morandi. In this regard, on Thursday 24 November 2022 at 6.00 pm the exhibition L’ “Epoca” di Mario De Biasi. Morandi attraverso l’obiettivo will be inaugurated. The photographic exhibition presents an extraordinary series of unposed portraits of the artist in his home environment, made in 1959 by Mario De Biasi, then photojournalist of "Epoca".
The exhibition, curated by Lorenza Selleri and Silvia De Biasi - daughter of the photographer and head of the paternal Archive - will remain visible until 19 February 2023 in the spaces of what was once the home-studio of the Bolognese master.
