Concetto Pozzati nelle collezioni del MAMbo

MAMbo, Permanent Collection
December 1, 2015 January 10, 2016

For the eightieth birthday of Concetto Pozzati, and for the first time in a single exhibition, the MAMbo will be showing the artist’s works already in the permanent collection alongside the recently donated Ortogonale pom of 1968.

The paintings displayed illustrate different cycles that stand out in Pozzati’s artistic career: from the early days in circles close to the informal movement, to the search for new directions in figurative art that resulted in works close to Pop Art and then further developed in many thematic and stylistic variations down to the most recent studies.

Affirmed by numerous one-man exhibitions in Italian and foreign museums, and present in some of the most important regular international exhibitions and fairs, Pozzati is also known for his long career as a teacher at the Accademie di Belle Arti of Urbino, Florence, Venice and Bologna, and for his cultural and civil involvement in various institutional settings.
