The heritage
MAMbo and Museo Morandi together hold a fund of over 5.000 works, of which more than 250 represent a specific collection of the utmost importance dedicated to the master from Bologna Giorgio Morandi.
The collections are divided according to a time frame which takes 1945 as separative date.

Historic collections
Historic collections are kept in storage spaces and are accessible, upon motivated request and by appointment, for scholars and all those who are intrested.

Contemporary collections
A selection of the Collection is hosted in the rooms reserved to the permanent exhibition on the first floor of the museum; from time to time it is set up again according to specific thematic relations.
